Responses to Sound Healing

Sound healing works by balancing the body, mind, and spirit, clearing blockages in energy flow, and helping to release stress and tension. It has been practiced for thousands of years across various cultures. During a session, healers use a variety of instruments to generate vibrations that resonate through the body. These vibrations are often described as warm or tingly, with some feeling them in their muscles or bones, while others may not sense them at all. During a sound healing session, many people experience profound relaxation, sometimes even drifting into sleep. Upon waking, they often feel a sense of bliss, with some saying they've never felt so relaxed. Others describe sensations of floating outside their bodies. The sound waves have the power to induce deep relaxation or a meditative state, penetrating the body at a cellular level.

After a session, some people experience a sense of well-being, while others may feel the need to drink water and rest. Do your best to nourish your body with quality water and foods after a session and listen to what your body needs. If stress was an issue before the session, it may be alleviated afterward. Emotional issues may also arise during a session, providing an opportunity for emotional release. We are unique beings and each session will produce a unique experience based upon many factors, including age, health level, mental state, physical conditions, and emotional condition.
